Founding Board Members Wanted
— Stichting The Lighthouse
Looking for 3-4 people to join the founding board of the Stichting.
This is a real opportunity to help shape something
from the ground up.
No need to be an expert in everything — just strong in your area and willing to meet 4-6 times per year. The time commitment is roughly 2-4 hours per month in the startup phase, less once the business running.
Location: Twente region preferred (or willing to travel to Enschede occasionally).
Board meetings will be hybrid.

Ideal in a board member:

Legal / governance (experience setting up a Stichting, ANBI application, Dutch nonprofit law)

Finance / accounting (nonprofit budgeting, grant reporting, financial oversight)

Agriculture / regenerative farming (practical knowledge of regen ag, soil health, grazing systems)

Fundraising / communications (grant writing, crowdfunding, donor relations, social media)
The founders talents:

Equine Behavior & Psychology — Academic Studies

Lifelong experience with horses — training, handling, care

Professional horse training background

Vision and drive to run the farm day-to-day
